CORNWALL utility Decarlo Trerise says there is “no greater achievement” than representing his home-county team.
The 30-year-old, who has been with the club since their establishment for the 2022 season after impressing in an open trial, played a variety of positions including winger and prop, has signed a contract extension for 2025.
He suffered injury issues last year, but when on the field, impressed coach Mike Abbott.
“To be able to represent Cornwall is amazing at any level and being Cornish myself, there is no greater achievement,” said Trerise, who previously played rugby union in the county.
“I want to get some good minutes under my belt. Last season was a bit stop-start, so hopefully I can get some consistency and get stuck in with the lads.
“I am hoping I can help by doing what the team needs, whether that be carrying from the front or tackling non-stop.”
