Could Gil Dudson be heading for Catalans Dragons?

After a high turnaround in the front row during the off-season, speculation has feverishly linked Wigan prop Gil Dudson with a move away from the club for the last few weeks.

Hull Kingston Rovers and several other Super League and NRL clubs are believed to be showing an interest in the Welsh international, who has been told he can leave the DW Stadium along with Scott Taylor, who recently joined Salford.

But now, according to Wigan Today, Catalans Dragons are the latest club to have joined the hunt for Dudson, opening the door for a potential move to the South of France.

The Dragons and Laurent Frayssinous are no stranger to bringing in British players, as Wigan Today rightly points out. The likes of Leon Pryce and Elliott Whitehead have headed to Perpignan in recent years, achieving plenty of success along the way.

With a move to the NRL still seemingly on the table too, the news Catalans are in for his services opens the door for a sensational move to one of Wigan’s title rivals in 2015.
