Warrington Wolves prop Jordan Cox has revealed that he feared a move down to the Championship after being informed by Hull Kingston Rovers that he wasn’t needed late last year.
Cox, who will face his former side for the first time today, discusses how he was told late in pre-season that he wasn’t required, and with every side seemingly set in their recruitment, he feared the Championship was the only option.
However, he came close to signing with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats before a chance service station meeting with Tony Smith got him a crack at the Wolves.
