Danny Brough insists he is not thinking about calling time on his future at the Giants.
The Huddersfield halfback has been the subject of intense speculation throughout the year, with reports suggesting he had suffered a fallout with former head coach Paul Anderson, which had allegedly put Hull FC on alert.
However, the former Man Of Steel insists that he has no intention of moving away from the John Smith’s Stadium in the near future, with his contract not set to expire until the end of 2018.
“I’m happy here,” Brough told TotalRL.
“I have nothing to clarify. I’m contracted to the Giants and basically, that is it.”
Meanwhile, the Scotland international believes the Giants squad have responded well following Anderson’s departure.
“It’s probably a shake up that has spurred the boys on. We’re here to do a job and there’s more of us to get rid of than there is a coach, so we have to roll our socks up and get stuck in now.
“We didn’t seem to get it right and that’s when we got caught out. But players come and go, and coaches do too, so we’ve got to knuckle down and deal with it now.”
