Dean Hadley signs new deal with Hull KR

DEAN HADLEY has signed a new one-year deal with Hull KR.

The Hull-born forward has racked up 129 appearances for the Robins and played a pivotal role in the club’s Challenge Cup win at Wembley.

Known for his versatility, Hadley has operated across the back-row and in the middle, making him a key figure in Willie Peters’ squad – so much so that an England call-up has been touted for the 33-year-old.

Hadley had already signed a deal with Rovers for 2026, but this deal will see the forward remain until the end of 2027.

Speaking on extending his stay with Hull KR, Hadley said: “I’m really happy. For me this is the place I want to play. Being somewhere else wasn’t an option (to me).

“What we’re doing on the field is the main importance (for re-signing). We’ve made strides again this year, such as the Cup win, and this is the place I want to be. We’re still developing and improving.

“There’s plenty of things to go after and that’s the focus. It’s not about what we’ve done but it’s about what we can achieve.”

Hull KR boss Willie Peters said: “We recently extended Dean’s contract by an extra year, but felt Dean is still at the top of his game and has proven he’s an integral part of what we do both on and off the field.

We wanted to acknowledge that with another year. Dean typifies what a Hull KR is all about.”
