Two debutants for Queensland

Justin O’Neill and Corey Oates are set to make their State of Origin debuts after being named in Queensland’s squad for the first Test against New South Wales next week.

Coach Kevin Walters has remained loyal to the existing squad, with the likes or Darius Boyd, Greg Inglis and Cameron Smith all starting.

Six of the 17 members are from Wayne Bennett’s Brisbane Broncos, with four representatives from North Queensland Cowboys.
