Farah rules out move to Super League

Wests Tigers and Australia hooker has appeared to rule out a move to Super League after insisting he is determined to play State of Origin next year.

Farah’s future at Wests Tigers is in limbo after the club told him he was free to leave ahead of the 2016 season, with Leeds immediately linked with the services of Farah.

But Farah said a desire to keep his NSW State of Origin jumper meant he would return to Australia for the pre-season.

“I love this jersey more than anything for many reasons, one of them very obvious. It took on a lot more significance for me a few years ago and my family,” he said.

“While it killed me to miss (game three), the call at the time was the right one,” he said.

“I want to make sure I am back there next year to do everything I can for the jersey, for Loz (coach Laurie Daley) and for the boys.”
