Hull FC’s injured winger Fetuli Talanoa could feature in their pre-season showdown with rivals Hull KR.
The winger, who scored a hat-trick against Rovers at last year’s magic weekend, had spent the off-season recovering from a knee operation. He returned to training at the start of pre-season, however a hamstring injury has restriced his training regime leading up to the 2016 season.
Although he is unlikely to feature in the Airlie Birds’ pre-season fixture with Doncaster on January 17th, he is in contention to play some part in the Hull derby on January 24th.
It means Lee Radford, as it stands, will have a fully fit squad to work with at the start of the 2016 season.
