Bradford Bulls boss Francis Cummins has confirmed that star forward Dale Ferguson is in line to miss out again this weekend, as his struggles with injury continue.
Ferguson has only made sporadic appearances this year due to a back problem, but shrugged that off to feature against Wakefield two weeks ago. However, he missed out on last weekend’s cup defeat to Warrington, and Cummins confirmed he is unlikely to be risked for the trip to Salford on Sunday.
“Dale’s really struggling. He’s had a bit of an abdominal strain – it’s not his back – but he’s having a really horrible time of things at the minute. He’s had a strain in his abs, and he’s going to be another week we think,” Cummins said.
“He’s had a real tough time of it lately, so we don’t expect him to make this week. Although he’ll train over the next couple of days we need to be careful, because he’s had a torrid time of late.”
