Much as expected today, few good performances with Jake Bradley being the pick of the bunch with an outstanding game.

Has Aaron Burns played for us yet? Anyone seen him play?
He played at the wreck but he wasn't on long enough to make an opinion on him.

I thought he slowed us down a bit last week to be honest, we lost something when he came on for Matty, though strangely when they swapped later on it didn't really work.
I thought that but he never seems to get a run of games to get him up to speed, a fully match fit Blain would be a different player I think..

Are we really a very inexperienced side when you look at it ? We don’t have the depth of experience but there’s a lot of guys with experience or who’ve played in the championship . We definitely lack in the half back position , and I didn’t mind losing if we’re improving and learning from our mistakes but it sometimes seems we do the same things over and over again which mean we keep coming up short or making things really difficult
I agree, but the problem is the half backs make the team tick. Jamie would have been good if he'd stayed.. well the interested Jamie not the not the other one..

Really disappointing that, they work hard but there's something really wrong with the way we play or coached because we're clueless. Stupid penalties stupid dropped balls and why play the last 20 mins like we're winning stuffing the ball up our jumpers when it should be thrown about and try something different.

Very ridiculous - only 20K ish central funding per L1 team and only 9 home games to generate income.
IMG looking after the whole of Rugby League "my backside", they, like the RFL are only interested in the top 12.
All these new plans are for is to stop P&R and protect the chosen few.
Anyone who says we are better off in off in league 1 for a few seasons is off their heads..

Yeah agree we really made hard work of it but sometimes you win through skill amd dominance, sometimes you win by guts and determination. Today was the latter, and its a victory as deserving as one won by skill.
That guts and determination was shown in 3 minutes by Grant Reid. Knocked on in our half to give them a chance, then when we got it back made a superb battling run to get us in their half and create the play that won us the penalty, we'll done to him.
Thought Key was a fair MOTM, between him and Barnes as the 2 outstanding players, with Walker very involved but having to do too much in my opinion, could really do with an organiser/controlling half alongside him, like Forber.
Defo short of an old head in the halfs, we spent most of the 2nd half in their half and didn't look like scoring for most of it. Bet JJ will be sore tomorrow that was one hell of a shift..2 points in the bag no matter what the performance was like. Happy days..

We were defo lacking in something today, we were very poor in attack and thought they looked a better team. Ref was cak but wasn't the difference. Work to do...

Wasn't that game attendance announced as over 6k?
Announced? You've got good ears because I couldn't hear a ###### thing that was announced and them floodlights don't get any better do they? What a spot that is..

He was in the Zebras yesterday, he looked very slim, I'm not sure if it will help his game or not. His rotund figure made him hard to put down and he bounced out of tackles. We all knew he needed to lose some weight, just a pity he waited until he joined haven to eventually do it.
Aye exactly what I was thinking, last season he really never turned up and let the best coach he's ever had down big style. Not really what a captain should have been doing.
