Sorry Rob , we did convert a try, think it was Mortons in the corner.

    No HW discount Colin?

£10 gives 33% off for Over 65's,  and 50% off those under, with u16s free. I'll  let you ask Kevin that 1 Blind Side .

TomG is no loss to them as he has been out all season - they never got used to playing with him in the first instance. Craven is the one to watch, otherwise you know what sort of game you will get from a JK coached team.

It will be close, I reckon. You should try to tempt a few Rams fans across given we have a blank weekend.

Come on BSJ, £10 to watch a top level championship game....bargain 😉😉

  4. Can I make a suggestion? . At Sundays game we ask the Referee to not blow the whistle at Kick Off.

We won't hear it....there will be probably 1000 phones going off with the Government disaster test alarm . Didn't they know we had a Cup game going on!!! How inconsiderate of Mr Sunak and his.......🤣🤣

Only thing I would say is the interviewer never really asked josh  much about how he was feeling about playing at Batley, or  his team mates, how he felt about the club and fans and how josh's game was developing at Batley!

He did mention that the Board were great and the fans were AWESOME. Spoke about his community work also.

  6. Yep it's a floodlight problem!!! There are no words, for once ,I'm lost for them. You couldn't write it. There have been missing lights/ bulbs since at least last season. Was up in BISSA room hour ago, Stanchion was up for cameras etc. Ey Dear.

I thought the crusher tackle impacted the neck and spinal column.

It now seems the referee, touch judge,Chisholm and Jake Webster are to blame?

    Not forgetting the qualified physio/doctor.

I just hope the camera work was done correctly.

Should find out in a few days time.Never had this in the other games...

Having received the game images,  for BISSA use, regards the crusher tackle, the linesman actually says, he saw nothing, it was the referee who said," it was a crusher tackle". After asking the linesman.

As an aside....the game is available from BISSA,  to watch, and listen, on either dvd or usb, at a bargain price of £5......

The adverts that we see are personalised - aligned with what Google etc believe to be your interests, based upon your browsing history. If some of them are inappropriate then......................!!

Ha ha, Way way way past anything like that.....but thanks for the compliment that I'm not.

  9. TOTAL RL, Can you please get rid of these b....y GOOGLE adverts appearing at top of the board AND in between messages and on  the threads.  I've returned them all but they won't stop. And some of them are inappropriate.

Anyone else having the same problem??

Merry Christmas to all at the Mount and their families. Also looking forward to another outstanding  season from the Dogs.

Same to you Frank, hope you're keeping well, Merry Christmas from all at The Mount, and especially from BISSA.

  11. Well.....I remember David Ward once saying " A good TEAM beats a team of NAMES". And to be fair , I think as a TEAM, we've proved that it's the case a lot of the time, this season and over the last few seasons. The key is to enjoy the ride, and boy what a ride we've had. Hopefully this year will be as good.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year .

  12. As promised,my neighbour has done his bit, Google Earth plus some computing skills, here are the results.

From Top goalpost base to bottom posts base........3m approx

From Top goalpost base to "Nine Oyl Corner....... 4m approx.

John Kear was correct as the height of the Crossbar is 3m (officially). So the crossbars would appear to be in line .

To do this with better accuracy it would cost , so they are approx, but are still very close.

If anyone would like a graphic of this I have printed copies A3 size which really shows the "lie of the land".

    Fascinating and quite surprising.
