I get confused working out who our present team are. It'll be doubly confusing tomorrow. It will be like Rovers Vss Rovers.

A disappointng turnout but an excellent evening. Well organised and well presented. It was a great opportunity to meet the players and coaching staff as well as meeting some of the 'club legends'.

Been thinking of best way to do this. I don't mind collecting the money, getting the tickets etc, but any views as to the best way to get it to me?
I will be at the Wakey game on Weds if anyone wants to see me and if anyone has any other suggestions, they will be appreciated.
How much are we talking about Carl?
-
Robin, regarding the C*s shirt in Sharlston, as with the wearing of the bhurka, I think they are just making a point.
What! Bhurkas in C*S colours!!!

JessieJoe and Lasen will be wanting to get a few games in to prove their worth to play for PNG at the end of the season. Which is all good for us because it makes the players try harder for a place.

I see that Widnes have taken on three players fron Wigan Warriors on a dual registration. Shaun Ainscough, Liam Farrell and Ben Davies. It somehow makes Super league even more irrevelent when the differences between us and them is getting closer. I think the RFL should have another look at the set up of the leagues and get rid of Super League once and for all.

Sad to announce the loss of Mr John Flynn.....a dear 'knottla' friend of mine who in recent years worked the one of the main turnstiles. Fev through an through. I would expect the club rightly will be having a minutes silence in johns memory on sunday. RIP John
You would have to check with the club, but I think you will find that a one minute silence has to be approved by the RFL
-
Surely that should be "2 places for Sue and I" eh Vic
Can't talk proper English n stuff mi sen though sometime, end up spoking like a people!!!
Personally speaking, I would have thought that to argue with a Golden Gamble seller could prove to be very negative!! Careful Sidnee.

2 places for me and Sue please Gary.
That last post was really bad English. I'll try again. 2 places please Gary, one for me and one for Sue

OFFICIAL KAZ??...seems an odd day/nite...so its 4 days after Batley at home and do we have a game on the 7th?
Thats good for us, we've nothing on the 7th
-
i've a feeling the fev wakefield game will get called off as its only free wednesday for next few week as leeds utd are at home every wednesday in february except that one
We don't have a serious game for nearly six months and now can't fit them all in. No wonder we find it difficult to find new supporters to turn out each week! It all gets very confusing.
-
Haven't they got a heated roller or something at Hunslet. Please let this game be on.
-
It had better be on, Sues made the sandwiches now
-
It's the waiting thats the agony

When will we know?

Watch out Martin, the commentary was very good !!!!!

Sure I am this day we are masters of our fate, that the task which has been set before us is not above our strength; that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance. As long as we have faith in our own cause and an unconquerable will to win, victory will not be denied us.
-
THE BACK OF THE STADIUM TURNSTILES WILL NOT BE OPEN TOMORROW.
-
[ Either way i will be at the game with a car full, and hope others go so we can compensate a little for the 30k or so lost with the 2 friendlies
I'll be there. I thought the reserve team games last year were excellent, particularly where players were fighting to get into the first team. (And we need the money)
-
Ah, a night club.Let's hope our players don't frequent it on a Saturday night before a game on the Sunday.
Do they do tea dances for us oldies on a Wednesday afternoon?
-
When I last spoke to Vic he informed me to have my wallet ready for the Donny match as he would be selling them.
Still won't be selling me a winner though, eh Vic
All being well the Golden Gamble will go ahead at the next home game. However we do need more volunteer collectors to maxmise the takings. If you can spare a bit of time on match day please get in touch with me or the club. The Golden Gamble is an important income for the club and needs supporting.
REMEMBER: ANYONE CAN WIN AT ANY TIME. EVEN CARL COULD WIN. WELL, MAYBE, WELL, IT'S REMOTELY POSSIBLE BUT KEEP TRYING.
