Got to disagree strongly with any resting of players - it won't be happening.
This is our cup final this weekend. It is only a few weeks since we matched Huddersfield in the Challenge cup.
Admittedly we are big underdogs but that will make victory even sweeter should the slim chance occur
No-one will remember in 10 years if we finish 6th, 7th , 8th , 9th or 10th
But making a major cup final (for lower league teams) will be part of the club's history

Jarrod Sammut is fine and available. Everything last week was precautionary and he was released Sunday evening.
We have lost Jack Croft but Sam Eseh remains with us and we are working on another loan deal. When the players are recalled after a short period there is nothing we can do about it, we are trying to negotiate longer loan terms but the Super League clubs call the tune.
Ryan Shaw has trained fully this week and is back in contention to fill the space left by Jack Croft
Dan Toal has had a bleed drained on his thigh and shouldn't be too far away
Ryan Johnston has had a scan on a niggling groin injury and we are waiting for the results before we can fully assess
Ellis Gillam has a calf injury and is a serious doubt for this week but Danny Langtree should be fine
Apart from that we are reasonably healthy.
We did a video with our physio last week with an injury update and it isn't a policy to keep the fans in the dark. If we had a sports journalist in the area it might help but the NWEM just seem to copy what we put out ourselves on social media.

Is it possible that franchising could actually have hindered Harlequins? Are they forced to budget at a Super League level to try to compete when clearly their income through crowds and sponsorship cannot sustain them. In the absence of a rich backer would they not be better off in the Championship where crowds around the 2000 mark would allow them to be competitive. I don't buy in to the argument that suddenly all the youth development would grind to a halt without a SL presence, surely the infrastructure is stronger than that. My own town of Barrow has not had top flight rugby for over twenty years but we still churn out Super League players. We currently have Gardner (Saints), Harrison (Wire), Lupton (Crusaders), Wilkes (Quins) and over twenty players in the Championship leagues.

The RFL changed the rules around the signing deadline and what has been asked for in the opening post is in place. Championship and League One clubs can bring in any player with a contract less than £20k after the deadline.
