"Why does Father Christmas have an english accent.....
...and smell of sausages????"
-
I have had fun on here today. It's been like walking round poking certain people with a pointy stick.
You should try the cross-code forum, it's like that every day over there

That'll be your Christmas present to yourself sorted then...
In-laws have kindly purchased a new one for us

Our washing machine is dead

I do like proper sausages, do you do postal orders?

taking delivery of a load of pheasants next week.
Pheasant and partridge are lovely.
Are you sure that you are a RL fan....

Rabbits good,so is ostrich, both need careful cooking though
Rabbit is best cooked slowly in a stew type reciepe rather than grilling or frying IMHO. Had it at many a scout camp and loved it.

Even if you "accidentally" leave it on the train, drop it down the stairs or smash it with the hammer you accidentally had in your hand when you sneezed repeatedly?
A colleague of mine reversed his car over his crappy work Dell laptop....by 'accident'. They gave him another Dell of equally low spec.

a beer computer should solve that risk
I will ask IT to order one for me.

Because of the white stuff I find myself forced to work from home.....I am being extra careful not to spill beer on my computer :-)

Have had a nervous 24hrs, took my cat to vets for usual vaccinations & check up. she has lost some weight which I knew but they were concerned. Did some bloods & was told today she has kidney failure (early stages). Put her on tablets & will see how goes.
I know its daft but she is my family & was devastated last night at the "what ifs"
I don't think they have kitty dialysis machines.

We recently got a bread maker and having been trying lots of different loaves. Nice to be able to cut decent thick doorstep slices rather than supermarket 'thick sliced' rubbish.

Chuffin' space cadet.
Me? Not even close. No idea why our company picked a spaceman to lecture us.

Just spent the afternoon being lectured about project management skills by an astronaut (amongst others).

just tucking in to Dads Pea & Ham soup then think I will have a nap as out with the girls later
I suspect you will be grounded when your dad finds out you had his soup.

Watched my two French builders do a full day's work - well half nine this morning until six tonight with just the two hours off for lunch!

My replacement is booked on the first of his internal flights to reach me, on Thursday morning. I'm hoping I'll be able to start making my westwards by the weekend, or at worst, immediately after it.
"I'm coming home, I've done my time........................"
Blighty is going to seem so dull without the daily mortar attacks.

I think Kedgeree has far more 'bits' in it.
Kedgeree from memory is rice, curry powder, smoked fish, boiled eggs, parsley and cream....plus maybe one or two other bits. Very nice if done properly

Cheers....I am on it
I would also suggest a call to Consumer Direct who will be able to advise on legalities and how to approach the situation.

We did wonder whose foot that was. For a while we thought it might be Reginald's, but then he found his on the end of one of his legs so he was ruled out of the list of suspects.
