I've been sent loads of different WhatsApps about this.

From what I've heard Bentley is being Bentley, been told to **** off and wouldn't listen.

Radley has got involved and they've both started fighting.

Too many versions, but if Radley has stood up for Wane then fair play. Wouldn't think Shaun would need an invite. I wouldn't cross him.

That first line says it all, " I've been sent loads of DIFFERENT what's apps". So which one do you believe? James Bentley is an idiot i don't think anyone would disagree with that, but why do people take the side of an aussie  newspaper with a poor record of reporting anything to do with England. Bentley is an easy target but who were the other two players? Or are they just making it up ?

Yes. Full spine will be different, only Welsby still there probably. Who is coming through in those positions? Our best players have been burgess, hill, whitehead and Radley. I’ll bet that none of them will play in 2025 for different reasons. Who replaces them?

I think we’ll be really poor in 3 years, but hope I’m wrong, as always.

On the basis of this world cup what makes you think Welsby will still be there ? Not lived up to the hype.

Chris Hill has been outstanding so far. That move to Huddersfield really seems to have given him a new lease of life and he’s played as well in this tournament as he was doing when he was being raved about in his first couple of seasons at Wire.

I wouldn’t pick Oledzki based simply on that first game and performances since and I think others have done more to hold a place. I was a bit surprised with how skinny Oledzki looks now. He’s clearly worked extremely hard on his fitness and is feeling the benefit at club level but I thought the old version, were he was a bit bulkier might’ve served him better at international level. He’s not going to get 60-70 minutes for England, like he might get at Leeds and he’ll need to make a bit more of an impact t in a shorter spell on the field.

I would tend to agree with most of that apart from not picking Oledski based on one game. Would you not pick Welsby based on the fact he did zero against a very poor Greek side ?

He's the only non Bradford related RL player i follow on social media due to the amount of respect I have for the bloke.  One of the best of the summer era undoubtedly.

Wonder who will be the first Wigan fan to say "not as good as Faz"

Better than any Bulls player, Peacock the exception.

Early days but it’s rare for us to produce backs of that size and athleticism. The last guy I can remember off the top of my head who was 6ft 5+, 16 stones + and quick (but not as quick as Young) was Karl Pryce but unlike Pryce, Young doesn’t look shy in carrying the ball with aggression.

I’ve been saying in the build up to this comp, I just think some players need the opportunity the World Cup brings to really build their reputations and give us confidence they’re top level quality. I think we’ve seen tonight that guys like Welsby and Young can do that. Other guys like Batchelor, Lees, Oledzki and Pearce Paul can do the same.

Im not expecting us to win the World Cup but I do feel we can have a positive tournament that sets the side up for the next few years and beyond.

Karl pryce had the heart the size of a of a gold fishes brain.
