  1. This coming Saturday (March 2nd) sees the North Derbyshire Chargers hold their first combined Primary Rugby League and Touch Rugby League events, providing playing opportunities for any gender and any ability from the age of 6 upwards. Delivered in partnership with the Midlands Rugby League and Sheffield Eagles, Primary Rugby League provides the opportunity for younger players to develop valuable skills and agility within a non contact format, prior to plying their trade in the 13 v 13 version of the game. The club are running four introductory sessions each Saturday morning at Netherthorpe School (Staveley, Chesterfield, S43 3PU) with sessions being led by our Coach Co-ordinator, Kane Krlic, and Tom Hughes, our Under 12s and Under 14s coach. The first session is free, with subsequent sessions costing £2 per festival or training event attended. To continue with Primary Rugby League, children will need to register with the club which costs £35 and for which they will receive a pair of club shorts and club socks. The event starts at 10:00 and lasts 90 minutes. We would welcome anyone with an interest in playing, coaching or volunteering for the club and look forward to bringing on the next generation of players. 2013 Under 11 Chargers Leaflet Final.pdf
