I'm going off watching him play for FEV and u tube games for Kieghley but if you want stats

In 19 he played 21 times for FEV scoring 16 tries 100 goals

In 23 he's played 12 times for cougars scoring 2 tries 35 goals and overall including a season in league one 24 times  scoring 7 tries 35 goals

And don't forget after 19 the following three seasons for FEV  he scored 10 tries in 26 games SO 19 was the pinnacle of Chizzy's FEV career

Sounds like you've input Chizzy's data into an AI program.  Can you ask it if we will get promoted ?

Hearing it was all agreed with Kopzcak but your injuries from the weekend put a stop to it happening.

Makes sense that.  Although I'm surprised that we were happy to let Koppy go - even before this weeks injuries.  He's got to be up there with Springer and Yei as the big impact players.

Agree, bad for all the lads, but players who can take there places of equal quality. Just need Ford back.

Well whether we believe Bussey, Hardcastle and Day can be easily replaced or not surely losing 3 second rowers for the season in one game is nothing short of a disaster.  What with Taylor being out for an uncertain period.

Davies has been outstanding recently but I don't think he will have the same impact over 80 mins.

If there's one thing for sure this will be the start a bad run with injuries - I think we've been fairly lucky this season before today - well compared to recent seasons anyway.

Much as I love Chizzy, do we really need him?. Aekins playing in the half’s, allows us to play MK at fullback, and there’s Ford to return as well. Unless an extra special player comes available or we have injuries, I am not sure that we need to bring any other players in.

But we do have injuries don't we ?  Whatever we think of Chizzy for me we are still light in the halves. Aekins did well last week but more as an individual.  Gale rarely saw the ball on that side and he's not got much of a kicking game.  I'm not too concerned right now about signing a half back that can step up to SL.  One that can get us there will do me.

Agree about Day and I’ve said it before. I also said ages ago that Hall’s worst position is centre as he gets found out defensively against the better teams. If a numpty like me can see it why can’t professional coaches!?

If Joey was playing yesterday Toulouse would have been out of sight by half time and I doubt he would have followed up his own grubber kick to score....

just to clarify as my idea of a motivational speaker is to help out sean long although he was a great player and maybe a very good coach unfortunately he is brian mcdermott’s double when he talks about the game i.e. very dull and boring still if he gets the job done that’s fine by me but he certainly doesn’t inspire me when he rambles on.

Much more likeable than McD but yeah got to agree

  7. Very difficult game to assess.  For most of it Toulouse couldn't get out of their half with their sets.  The stat mentioned previously about Toulouse scoring every time they were in out 30 doesn't surprise me.  At 18-18 any neutral would have thought we were favourites to win but from that point it went badly downhill.

Ford's early exit didn't help and I do think we could have been more clinical in that first half and possibly been out of sight but the final score can't all be down to his injury. Agree with the post above about our forwards being being drawn in on the edges - especially in that last quarter.  We looked so poor defensively in the closing stages.

There was an element of everything going wrong for us today - even the bounce of the ball. The speculative pass for their second try was laughable and how they only had one yellow card given the number of high / late shots was a disgrace.  However it feels like we have to go back to the drawing board.  We won the arm wrestle / kicked into the corner on the last etc which seems to be the modern way but it didn't work did it.  We still have the best squad in this division by some way but we need a plan b or its looking like last year again

Not sure where this leaves us.  Bad day at the office maybe but imo we are back to where we were at the start of the season - need at least another half back.

That's by some way their strongest squad for a while. Laurent Belmas - their answer to "Grabber George" Flanagan - is set to return from his 7-game ban, one of which was chalked off by the England v France international. Peyorux and Akauola, two of their other big forwards, are also in the squad having been mising for a while. I still think we'll be too strong for them, but their recent form has come with much weaker squads if all these guys are available.

Is Laurent Belmas and Lambert Belmas (no relation) the same person ?  Either way - how does that work ?  Surely England games don't count if a Rovers players gets a ban !!  A bit lucky for Toulouse then.  What with the other players coming back this game is looking a bit more interesting again - no bad thing.....

Disagree. Hankinson is our best centre and it's not even close. Goal kicking is a bonus. He has to play. Hall vs Hardcastle is the decision.

    Aekins

    Briscoe Hardcastle Hankinson Gale

    Lacans Ford

    Springer Wildie Lockwood

    Day Bussey

    Smith

    Jones Davies Yei Moors

Let Bussey kick, I don't think it'll be close enough to matter.

I would play Hall if Hanks is not kicking.  Personally I think Day has gone well this year.

The game went as i thought an easy win although Barrow played better than the score suggests and  will win quite a few games with similar performances. For me Ford was outstanding his quick early passes gave our backs room to play.Lacans had a   good game and it would be difficult to leave him out if we get Dean back.Halls kicking was superb and those wide conversions add to the score.

Agree with these points.  We commented many times on Barrows defence which seems crazy given the scoreline.  We definitely needed Ford's quick passing and Lacans pace to make things happen.  Good to see a few tries and goal line drop-outs from grubber kicks
