It is an unfortunate gap.
However we have plenty of action with our teams coming up.
16th Workington Town Women FC v Penrith in the County Cup Semi final. 130KO
1630 Newcastle v Liverpool, Carabao Cup final in the marquee.
23rd Workington Town Ladies RLFC first home game. 2pm ko v Leigh Miners.
We would appreciate as much support as possible before we play our first home game v North Wales Crusaders, 30th March, 3pm.
Followed by a full month of games in April.
6th Rochdale Hornets away.
13th Cornwall RLFC at home (all tickets valid) 1pm
18th Whitehaven at home 3pm ko
27th Swinton Lions at home 3pm ko.

Ooh mysterious. Is there more that's unsaid that what was said here
There's nothing mysterious about stating a fact.
Workington Town RLFC retain the lease to operate at the Fibrus Community Stadium.

All in due time I know, but a statement from our board would help.
If we are still in the project, there's no reason not to communicate like the Reds board?
And if we are out? well I hope there was a clause to reclaim the lease in the event the project didnt meet our needs.
Our lease is back in our hands and has been for some time.
As previously communicated.

1300 plus have now secured early bird tickets.
We would really appreciate early ticket purchasing to help us plan.
We would also really appreciate you considering our hardworking volunteers who will be manning the turnstiles and arriving earlier.

Our community trust team are actively putting 2500 fliers and invites into primary school kids hands. Spike is enjoying himself!
We really are working hard to create that interest, 6 local clubs juniors will be playing before the big game too.

The early bird sales have gone extremely well.
Shop open again tomorrow 1030-430pm!
Leigh fans are also snapping their allocation up too and looks like there will be a good following from Leigh.
It will be a great spectacle, under lights, this place is special.
Get your mates down, enjoy the game as a great crowd could really positively impact our season.

It's a long way from Kendal on a Friday night. I'll have to think about it
We don't often have these nights, Cumbria v Jamaica was special.
Hopefully you can make it.

If you were in attendance when we hosted Cumbria or Scotland v Tonga or Scotland v New Zealand you'll know that our stadium, under lights is a great place to be.
Please join us and give us a huge boost after the long trip to Portsmouth and potentially another if we can get past Dewsbury in the 1895 cup, all big demands on our finances.
Here's some information, ticket sales have started great since we launched at 8pm today, bring a mate, bring an old fan and get behind your club and watch the Super League stars of the Leigh Leopards!

𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹
Important update. - Unfortunately the Northern Competitions marquee has suffered significant damage after the storm on Friday & will be further assessed on Monday. Once we establish the damage we will request assistance so we can get it back to the wonderful venue & condition that our wonderful volunteers had it in before.
So for now, It cannot be used for the Big screen showing of our game v Royal Navy Rugby League, however we will not be put off and have sourced extra TV's and a feature high quality and sizable TV and will still be showing the game 'Live' in the Tom Mitchell Hospitality Lounge.
For those who have purchased tickets & tables, we would love to still see you at the Fibrus watching the game together, supporting your club and enjoying the game day vibe with your fellow Townies!
Our game kicks off at 1pm, doors open 1230.
Workington Town Women FC also play at home on Sunday, kick off 2pm so you'll be able to support one of our teams for their 2nd half as they look to maintain their good recent form!

This game will be shown LIVE in the Northern Competitions marquee on Sunday, open from 1230.
The game has brought with it many associated costs, we'd love to see a packed marquee with fans cheering us on and treating it like a home game.
It's £5 for entry and a seat or £25 for a table of 6 and first regular drink.
Kids free and don't need a ticket.
www.townshop.co.uk to secure a table.
Been a healthy response from our social media posts. Thank you to those who have supported us so far.
Tokens will be issued at the 1945 Club reception and can be redeemed at the Tom Mitchell Lounge bar which will be in use whilst we carry out work on the Gus Risman Lounge.
