  1. He came back due to the corona virus stopping the jersey flegg competition. I couldn’t find a post on him signing a first team contract.
  2. Irish 19 year old front rower signs first team contract with Huddersfield. https://www.giantsrl.com/article/7073/giants-again-promote-from-academy?platform=hootsuite also a couple videos and podcast on his journey. https://player.captivate.fm/episode/5d1cd825-baa5-4e4b-8a5c-40630dc08e07 https://t.co/X4UXBsuteM?amp=1
  3. https://www.giantsrl.com/article/7169/michael-takes-nrl-step?platform=hootsuite How good a prospect is Ronan?
  4. Never been to Blackpool. Dublin means Blackpool as gaeilge. I know stupid name. How can I change it?
  5. Thanks. I thought I was ok to talk about it as people had compared RU to RL earlier.
  6. Anyone know if league is bigger in places like perpignan, Perth, Adelaide, Tonga and Melbourne? edit: In comparison to RU.
  7. I'm a big union fan with interest in league. Am I in the wrong for wanting to see the cross code forum?
  8. Tuilagi is under contract with Leicester until June 2021. He won't be the same player then and will rapidly decline. This is for publicity.
  9. Is there anything like the RU Crusaders international high Performance Unit in RL? Its offers the following to players from all over the globe: Airport pick up and drop off Crusaders Training tee shirt & hoodie Full access to view BNZ Crusaders trainings Opportunity to meet BNZ Crusader players Speed & Fitness testing Strength & Conditioning programmes Individual performance plan Medical support Full rugby report at the completion Certificate of attendance Full Gym access Games training and membership with a local rugby club Entry to two Super Rugby games Nutritional and Mental skills advice Game analysis sessions Individual player reviews Specialist Rugby training sessions at the BNZ Crusaders training ground It’s produced 18+ international rugby players from the likes of Scotland, Japan, Fiji, USA and Canada. You could send promising RL, RU and or Gridiron players over to the Wigan warriors or the Roosters for a few months to get there skills up.
  10. That would make the game even more repetitive. Kicking forwards and kickoffs make the play more diverse.
  11. I don’t think I have to explain myself. Just look up the definition of Butt hurt. Actually don’t It might hurt your feelings because it’s so disgusting? I enjoy all codes of Football, League and Union included. I’m just fed up with a lot of people on this forum talking like union is like the evil illuminati of the sporting world. Just stop please and get the chip off your shoulder. Just realised I might have tried to explain myself
  12. I already knew about Ronan and Longhorns I was looking for more stuff like school programs to get kids into the sport. I’m Irish my location says Dublin. that’s how I know about Irish sports. We can agree that if there was a professional Dublin Blues side it would have to share fans with either Dublin, Leinster and LOI teams. Rugby internationals sold out Croke Park.
  13. Average attendances falling 31% in Gaelic. Im not a fan of Gaelic but some of my friends that play and watch hurling and football say it’s getting boring with dull tactics and games and Dublin’s dominance. Wow you got me. Your so smart. I am of course a troll that doesn’t watch rl and comes on to forums and makes threads about Irish RUGBY LEAGUE to troll you all.
  14. There isn’t really any young players. This is a fluke that he even found the sport. How did they get kids playing the sport in Newcastle? That needs to be done. There’s only one properly pro sport in Ireland. Rugby Union. Footballs semi pro and GAA is amateur. There’s space for more. Need to strike when the iron is hot Gaelic is on the down and no one follows domestic soccer.
  15. Does anyone know if there’s any work being done in Ireland to grow the game and has there been any achievements?
