Well done to all the players and coaching staff for achieving the season's goal of making the play-offs. Also a first win for a while against a RL heartlands team so well done for getting that monkey off us backs. Win or lose next week, the last few weeks have provided an upbeat end to the season.

In my opinion you need to have the vision to sign players on 2 or 3 year deals that cannot be broken in order to build a squad with pride passion in the shirt the club and the ethos.
If we don't then we will be stuck in the bottom reaches of professional rugby league
You make it sound so simple Cliff - perhaps replace the word 'vision' with 'money'!!

With the central funding from the RFL also cut by 85% for this season, thank goodness for the sponsors!

Let's not bracket the Skolars and Swinton games as similar. There was a massive improvement in performance and effort against Swinton - a match on another day we might have nicked - compared to the debacle in London.

Really good piece this on the Oldham RLFC club website. The town of Huddersfield should indeed be proud this week. I read both of Craig Halstead's books not long ago & they are well worth a read for any Oldham fans not read them, or any RL fans for that matter. I think they are both on E-Bay.
