I wonder who the backroom staff will be.It would be a nice addition to have Tim Spears back

Andrew Henderson on a 5 year contract

I think Willie Poaching will be the next coach. He is available and he could start at short notice.
Not my ideal choice but a possibility

I wonder why this isn't on the club site

Did well with Wakefield towards the end of the season ,but i presume a lot of big names will be interested in the position of joining the knights with the training facilities we have and playing in a brand new stadium.
Do uou think they will promote from within the club. That way everyone still knows what each other can do and there is plenty of experience within the squad.

My only consern is that the next coach won't be able to put his stamp on ghe squad. His appointment will be a bit of a rush and maybe not ghe ideal choice given ghe circumstances that Fordy has left under. No disrespect to him because he has done what is right for him

I would have expected an announcement by now.
It's all getting a bit daft.other news sources have reported it so why the wait

The club can't be expected to make a statement on every rumour, there's a fans forum next week let's wait and see, if Fordy has gone I should think Clint will already be sorting that out, if so I hope its someone new to the club.
But it's not a rumour. It may not have been planned and has left the club in the doo doo but it has happened and the club should make some kind of response regardless of a new coach been in place ir not

if he is to be replaced , the new guy must be better for the team, and long term stability of the club, then we would be foolish to object
I think whatever decisions are made for the next coaching team will all be made for the clubs super league status

From what I heard he has gone to Wakefield but nothing announced yet until everything is sorted compensation wise.
I wonder if they are going to promote from within the club.If I am correct they gzve Jordan Thompson a 3 year contract and at his age they must have something in the pipeline for him coaching wise.Maybe he would become an academy coach .

Where would a press release fit best, Nige? Serious question.. The Press, radio, Knights website, FB, Twitter?
I don't think the press is the place , but on the Knights website and twitter would be good.

I think today's signing will be a big one since they have announced the season tickets. My money is on Josh Daley

When somebody said to him, 'see you next season Jack', after the game on Sunday, he shrugged his shoulders as if to say maybe not. Where is he going?
I think he's going to the Cougers. They are building up a strong team for next season. They mean business

I hope we have plenty of good forwards signing for us for next season. One forward that we won't have is Jack Teanby

Well done Batley. What a cracking result.

Unless we find an arab sheikh to fund us it'll be evolution not revolution. I'm sure there will be changes though. Blooming hope so anyway
We don't have an Arab Sheikh you're right. We have an invisible chairman who can't even publicly praise the lads for getting this far.I know we have mentioned him in a previous topic but he still isn't coming forward to interact with the fans and give us an idea if his plans are still moving forward

I really don't understand it, every time we sign one of this year's squad, everyone applauds. If we are to improve the side we need to bring better talent into the side, not the same players who have spent half this season injured.
Valid point, but I am sure others won't agree. With all respect to the lads today it was never going to be an easy game.Enjoy your off season and those players that are coming back next season I hope you get a bit of a rest

It looks like we might be signing Josh Daley an Australian Hooker with a good reputation. Good to have extra cover for Jubby and Ingham
Seven gone

Ridiculous if that is the case. Have they spent the budget tying down players on long contracts . Makes no sense if that's the case especially if 2 I can think of are long term injuries already.
