. Not sure what the story is behind it .
Nor me PH when he signed his extension in august he said
Me and my family are really happy here we love the fans and the atmosphere they create so there's no other club I want to play at I've got a young boy on the way and can't wait to bring him to his first Bulls game
NOW
As a local lad it’s a great move for me and my family.

For instance, we haven't recruited a specialist or experienced wing on the opposite flank to Gaz Gale, but HKR have Evalds, Hall and Burgess who are all likely to be in front of Lewis Senior and it's not hard to see him starting with us on a regular basis and end up being almost like a season-long loan.
s
That's what a meant by players always being made available barring a boat load of injuries players who will be way down the pecking order funny thing PH a winger was my first thoughts

It's all abit amateurist from the club regarding the squad this year
Reading between the lines W we could have been given a list of HKR players who will always be made available throughout the season and so may have tailored our recruitment to accommodate them

it shouldn't be a surprise if a sprinkling of HKR players are in the squad for the Hunslet and Batley games.
IN an article in wakey express Vickars has said
"Our partnership with Hull KR was much sought after by the club as we believe that Hull KR have invested in one of the strongest and deepest squads in the British game. Once the pre-season friendlies are complete and we head to the 1895 Cup, and the league season, those players will start to be released to our club and with other additions also set to arrive at a similar time,

I I did though, like others, have a good laugh at the shocking attempt of a conversion from near the post for Day’s try.
You got to understand C our 3 goalkickers were sat in the stand so today it was rock paper scissors to see who had a go

I suspect this game won't be one that we'll learn a lot from, other than having another look at our triallists/fringe players.
It's a bit unfortunate that three of the four guys that we're assuming will be our regular props/middles won't have played in pre-season, and with the 1895 Cup opener at Hunselt only a fortnight away it looks like we'll either be going into that comp without some of those players, or they'll be playing their way to match fitness on the job.
I think Fordy said they were late to the party for preseason but would have thought with over a month before Hunslet they will be up and running and also think he's been using the friendlies to give trialists proper game time before we make up our mind

The Rovers have Aekins and Hsrdcastle returning after missing their fixture against Bradford.
That's true C but both on the bench Caleb only got back in the country on Friday and it will be Josh's first game since his stroke in July
Incidentally we have a squad of 18 but at least 4 will be missing instead we will have 5 trialists 3 amateurs and 2 who have never played in the championship but not to worry we have DR with HKR oops they're on training camp in Tenerife so we have two of their academy lads making up the numbers so a score line 42-12 somewhat flatters us

We haven't got 21 players!
I know M that's why I said if we were going to play more than the 21 as suggested we would list all FEV players before HKR academy in the Match Centre on the RFL

Wallace is on training campand last week it only named 21 Bradford players but they turned up with 25I know F he's gone to Tenerife but regarding our squad and the bulls 25 if we were going to do the same would have thought the 21 would have been all FEV players and not include trialists and academy players
-
Squad on match centre got 21 listed but from last week no wynne or wallace added Josh, Caleb and two HKR academy lads Lauer and Smith
-
According to our biggest fan from Bradford FEV kept the big guns on while bradford played a lot of youngsters and more than matched them while chester butler said FEV had more of a starting line up than us and when we have our starting line up in the season we can comfortably beat them

League structures?

A number of clubs have put forward ideas of three divisions of 12 teams, League Express understands with a return to the Middle 8s for the Championship and League One in a bid to drive competition between the two leagues.
Meanwhile, Super League is set to remain at 12 teams with IMG’s pillars still very much the focus for clubs aiming for Grade A status.
The idea behind a Middle 8s would see the top eight of the Championship play off with the bottom four playing off against the top four from League One.
It is hoped that such a concept would spark interest and drive crowds towards the back end of the season as well as giving all clubs something to play for.
