  1. Bill - watch the replay owd cock before leaping to that conclusion!

The ref wasn't responsible for our poor completion rate - it was dire.

The ref wasn't responsible for our (at times) ###### discipline).

Our defense in our 20 was way short of what it has been!

The ref isn't responsible for our players just not delivering the goods.

Too many players had woeful games tonight regardless of the ref. We should still have beaten them! We couldn't and it wasn't the refs fault!

Robin whilst in some senses I agree with what you say, there was definitley some element of referee's influence. He may well have pinged us correctly for not being square but there were numerous ocaissions where he ignored Toulouse not being. Two of the pings against us resulted in tries for Toulouse.

Our play makers also made some woeful decisions in attack tonight.

  2. Some dubious calls from the ref to help piggy back Toulouse upfield in the second half but too much ###### play such as an aimless kick on the 3rd tackle with a minute to go didn't help.

  3. I stopped buying any of the league papers years ago when they devoted more space to Leroy Revett pranging his hire car than to Dewsbury winning the NFP.

I don't think their attitude to the lower leagues has changed one iota since then.

  4. Got me thinking... try as in effort would be tries, but in a rugby sense a try is singular (eg. he scored a try), so would be try's? (eg. he's ###### says the Fax fan, despite scoring 4 try's)

Err, no........ there's no apostrophes in plurals. Definitely tries.

  5. are they all paying fans though and will they be there every week? senior is right they shouldnt be in sl, they are a joke and have made rugby league a laugthing stock.

Virtually all will have paid - there have (apparently) though been some discounted tickets made available to local schools and Wrexham FC season ticket holders.

Whether those there tonight will still be going in a few weeks time, never mind by the end of the season, remains to be seen.

  6. ......Interesting that now the loyal Bridgend and South Wales fans have been 'Sold down the Swanee' (or is that the Clywedog), it's Ian Golden who is once again trying to raise funds and sponsors for the new South Wales Scorpions.....

Why wouldn't he be, since the Scorpions are essentially the Crusaders' reserve team?
