Other than adding NZ2 to the competition at a future date what more could the NRL be doing in New Zealand in order to capitalise on and maximise even more the great crowds and media hype currently surrounding the warriors who are attracting great crowds not only Auckland but Christchurch, Hamilton and Napier? I would suggest that the NRL should try to financially entice some of the 16 Australian based teams to take their “home” games against the warriors to cities and towns across the length and breadth of New Zealand other than Christchurch like wellington, Hamilton, Dunedin, Palmerston North, Napier and Tauranga etc.

Stop fannying about NRL with origin and on the road NRL games in Perth and give Perth the real thing in the 18th NRL franchise. It’s only what they deserve after all the tremendous crowds they pulled in over the last few years and the fantastic grassroots RL currently going on in Western Australia as well as being historically screwed over during the super league war. https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/state-of-origin/nrl-2023-perth-to-host-state-of-origin-rugby-league-news-optus-stadium-sport-reaction-nrl-scores/news-story/012c08b0a4b07478945321469a57d676
