    Did St Helens two victories in Australia in NRL preseason merit expanding the idea given their subsequent mixed results back in Super League? Can we take advantage of it (while still making it part of the NRL pre season) and gently expand the visiting teams to Australia? You could say: 1 x Australian NRL teams (the highest finisher from the previous season) 1 x English Super League teams (the highest finisher from the previous season) 1 x New Zealand NRL team (okay at the moment, NZ Warriors) 1 x French Super League team (okay at the moment, Catalans Dragons) Play each team x 1 (3 rounds) and whoever tops the mini league wins the prize. Would it work alongside the standard NRL preseason period? Or are we just not there yet and it’s too derivative?
