Last night was a good one for Luke Gale.
Not only did Castleford win, but the Albert Goldthorpe Medal winner put in a stunning display, most notably kicking an audacious drop goal from considerable distance to put Castleford ahead.

However, it didn’t stop one former teammate poking some fun at him. Jamie Foster, the current Huddersfield Giants winger, took to Twitter to joke about Gale’s current choice of hairstyle.
Barber – What you after mate?
Gale – Just wreck my life please.

This, obviously, caused plenty of Castleford fans to stick up for their star man. However, Gale hit back himself with a bold tweet of his own that sent Rugby League’s Twitter community into overdrive.
@jamiefoster22 similar to your career bro…

And just as Twitter loves to do, it saw one tweet escalate into a whole lot more, with players past and present chiming in.

It’s probably fair to say that Foster, who played with Gale at Bradford when the Bulls were relegated from Super League, saw his tweet backfire a little bit. But not to be denied, he ensured that, for now, he got the final parting blow.
Appreciate the ❤ from all my Cas fans. I knew you always loved me. Keep smiling. Im off for a Haircut.

Twitter, how did we ever live without you?!
