As we mentioned earlier today, Wigan Warriors have used their week off to undergo a different kind of training, as they collided with Bath Rugby Union in a novel move between the two clubs.
It’s rare that both codes come together in such a manner, and both clubs have spoken of how positive an experience the session has been. The Warriors were commended by Bath coach Mike Ford, who said: “Wigan have been brilliant, and challenged us in exactly the way I intended.
They are a very smart side, and Shaun has done a fantastic job with them. I’d like to thank him and his squad, and hope this relationship can continue in the future,” Ford added.
