Former Great Britain front-rower Garreth Carvell has completed his long-anticipated move from Bradford Bulls to Hull FC.
The 32-year-old has been openly looking for a new club despite never playing a competitive fixture for the Bulls and still being tied to a two-year contract.
It is thought the financial uncertainties and off-field issues at the Provident Stadium worried him.
Carvell joins the Airlie Birds for the second time, having made 164 appearances for the Black and Whites between 2001 and 2008. He is set to play in the club’s Super League opener against Catalan Dragons on Friday night.
