Giants: Luke Robinson signs contract extension

Huddersfield scrum-half Luke Robinson has signed a contract extension that will see him remain with the Giants until the end of 2017.

The 30-year-old, who has made over 200 appearances for the club since signing in 2008, has his sights set on winning silverware before the deal expires.

“I want to win something here and I know we can do it,” Robinson said.

“We’ve been really close but not made the last step, but overall since I came we’ve gone forward massively.

“I am very happy here and to do ten years [at the end of the new deal]will be a proud achievement and one I’m grateful that I’ve a chance at. I don’t want to look back at my time here and say I was involved in building towards trophies – I want to be able to say I won trophies and I want more than the 2013 League Leaders’ Shield.”
