Bradford playmaker Lee Gaskell, 25, is out of contract at the end of the season and is said to be keen on making the step up to Super League again.
The Hull FC chief is a fan of the former Saints half and is trying to manufacture a sensational move in which Leon Pryce, also out of contract at the end of this season, moves in the opposite direction.
Pryce’s return to Odsal seems nailed on, but Bradford won’t want to let Gaskell go on a free. There is plenty of competition when it comes to getting Gaskell’s signature; Leigh Centurions are also interested and are thought to be willing to splash the cash if it can lure Bradford’s prize asset to LSV while other Super League clubs are keeping a close eye on his progress.
