Hull KR co-captain Josh Hodgson will only leave the club if they receive an appropriate transfer fee, after rumours emerged that he could be heading for the NRL and Canberra Raiders.
With talk that Hodgson had signed a deal with the Raiders for 2015 on Thursday, he took to his personal Twitter account to seemingly squash the talk, saying: “Hull loves a rumour haha keen to play in oz one day but focusing on playing for hull Kr and captaining the team.”
And it is believed that the Robins will only entertain talk of their co-captain leaving the club if they get a fee believed to be a sizable six-figure one, as interest heats up in Hodgson – who was rewarded for his excellent form with inclusion in Steve McNamara’s latest England squad.
