Hull FC have confirmed that long-serving player Richard Whiting has joined Leigh Centurions on a two-month loan deal.
Whiting made 17 appearances for the Black and Whites last season, scoring three tries, but has not featured for the club in the opening two rounds of Super League XXI.
Equally adept at centre or in the back-row, Whiting joins the 2015 Championship table-toppers until the end of April.
Hull FC head coach Lee Radford told hullfc.com: “It is a good opportunity for Richard to get minutes under his belt.
“He is joining a club pushing at the top end of the Championship playing at a high standard.
“They have picked up a few knocks so the situation has arisen for him to go there and perform to put himself in a stronger position when he returns.”
