Hull FC have made enquiries about three NRL players, including George Burgess.
According to the Hull Daily Mail, the Black and Whites made contact with Burgess’ representatives about a potential return to Super League next year.
However, they claim that despite Burgess being off-contract at the end of the year and Souths unlikely to offer him a new deal, a move to Hull, and to Super League is unlikely.
But the England international isn’t the only player being linked with a move to Hull FC.
Brisbane Broncos forward Alex Glenn is also rumoured to be a target of Lee Radford, along with Parramatta Eels prop Kane Evans.
Glenn is off-contract at the end of the season while Evans has fallen down the Eels pecking order.
Hull have the largest list of players off-contract in Super League, many of them being quota players. As a result, they have the potential to recruit heavily from the NRL this year.
