Hull KR issue statement on Adam Walker

Hull Kingston Rovers have said that forward, Adam Walker will remain available for selection after discussions with the game’s governing body and his legal team.

Walker was stood down from selection for last week’s game at Huddersfield after a report concerning the player emerged in a national newspaper, but the Robins have now said that he will be available.

Indeed, Walker has been included in KR’s 19-man squad for this weekend’s trip to Salford.

The statement said: “Following consultation with the player, his legal advisers and the RFL, Hull Kingston Rovers have taken the view that Adam Walker should remain available for selection as a first team player.

“Adam continues to cooperate fully with all relevant agencies; the situation remains under constant review by the club, which will act appropriately based on the outcome of any official investigation.

“Hull Kingston Rovers will be making no further comment at this stage.”
