Hull KR season ticket sales rise year-on-year

Hull Kingston Rovers have posted an increase on season ticket sales compared to this time last year, as chief executive Mike Smith believes the club are in a good position moving into the 2015 season.

With a large turnover of playing contingent – 13 new signings have arrived for the new season – the Robins have been encouraged by the increase for season tickets for the upcoming season, with Smith saying it’s great to see more fans buying into the club.

“It’s not massive numbers, only a small percentage, but it’s a good start particularly as it follows last season’s 15 per cent increase in sales,” said Smith.

“Given the backdrop of what happened last season and the turnover of players, we’re encouraged to be up year on year ahead of the deadline.

“We’ll see where we are on February 8 and hopefully we’ll be able to announce an overall rise on memberships.”
