Warrington Wolves utility back Jordan Burke has joined Championship outfit Sheffield Eagles on a month-long loan.
The 22-year-old begins training with his new club tonight and looks set to make his debut against Keighley Cougars on Sunday.
Eagles Head Coach Mark Aston said: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to bring Jordan into the club. As a player he has great vision and class and he will fit in well here. He’s a young back with heaps of potential and I think it’s just a matter of time before he makes the grade in Super League.
“Players need to compete and fight for their place in the squad and Jordan certainly gives us more options in the backs. He has the right attitude and work ethic, which is important, and I might give him a chance this Sunday against Keighley.”
