Leeds Rhinos and Hunslet RLFC will participate in the inaugural Harry Jepson OBE Memorial Cup next year.
The two clubs have traditionally held a pre-season fixture to compete for the Lazenby Cup, however, the game has now been named in memory of Jepson, who passed away this year at the age of 96.
Harry dedicated his entire life to Rugby League and was awarded an OBE for his services to the game, which has seen him involved at Leeds for the last four decades.
The game will be played at the South Leeds Stadium on Sunday 15th January 3pm kick off.
