We all know rugby league clubs are superb at going above and beyond to connect with their supporters – and Leigh Centurions have certainly shown their class this week.
The ambitious Championship side made one supporter’s 21st birthday extra-special, as you can see in the video below.

Big Leigh fan Alex Taylor was surprised by interim coach Kieron Purtill and Centurions stalwart Micky Higham, who dropped in on Alex to help him celebrate his big day.
And as you can see, it’s safe to say that Alex was pretty pleased to see Purtill and Higham!
It’s wonderful gestures like these which, in truth, separate rugby league from most other sports. And Leigh certainly showed all their class here: that’s for sure.
