Lions land Lloyd

Swinton Lions have signed their former loan player Rhodri Lloyd on a permanent basis from Wigan.

Lloyd played twelve matches on loan at the club last year and produced an influential performance in their promotion final win over Keighley Cougars.

Now the Welsh international has linked up with John Duffy’s squad for the remainder of the season. Duffy said: “Rhodri is a real athlete – he’s about 6ft 4, so he will bring some power and pace to our edges. “He’s an international too, so he brings some added value there. “He knows what we’re all about here and I’m looking forward to him slotting in.”
