A strong rumour is circulating that one of Dr Marwan Koukash’s brothers is set to make a bid to buy the Bradford Bulls.
The Salford Red Devils owner is one of seven siblings and sees potential in our sport to make lots of money. Our source indicated his enthusiasm rubbed off on his sibling, who is preparing a bid that could drag the Odsal club from the mire.
Let’s hope it’s true – regardless of who you support, there’s no doubting the Bradford Bulls, with their massive fan base and rich history, would be sorely missed if they were to fold.
EDIT: Marwan has since denied this rumour on Twitter, but we are confident it could still come off given the standing of the name that provided us with the information. It is safe to say this is not a closed case.
