Castleford Tigers’ hooker Paul McShane sits at the top of the Albert Goldthorpe Medal table tonight after earning three points for the second successive round of Super League fixtures for his performance in Castleford’s 18-26 victory at Hull FC on Thursday night.
McShane picked up three points in round 1 for his performance in the Tigers’ victory over the Catalans Dragons, and he now stands alone at the head of the table.
However, he is closely followed by the current Albert Goldthorpe Medal holder Stefan Ratchford, who earned two points for his performance for Warrington Wolves on Saturday against Hull Kingston Rovers.
The other players who picked up three points this weekend were:
Jackson Hastings (Salford Red Devils v London Broncos)
Sam Tomkins (Catalans Dragons v Huddersfield Giants
Tommy Makinson (St Helens v Wakefield Trinity)
Chris Hill (Warrington Wolves v Hull KR)
George Williams (Wigan Warriors v Leeds Rhinos)
The current Albert Goldthorpe Medal table can be seen in this week’s edition of League Express, which will be in the shops on Monday and will be available online from around 9.00pm.
