NEWCASTLE THUNDER have snapped up Wigan halfback product Charlie Yeomans while retaining prop Austin Phillips.
Yeomans was a member of the Wigan side who beat St Helens in last year's Academy Grand Final.
Phillips, 33, was signed a year ago after playing rugby union for Blaydon, where Thunder are now based.
