Nuuausala charged following Wigan home debut

Frank-Paul Nuuausala will make his first appearance at Red Hall since joining Wigan on Tuesday after being charged by the RFL.

The Match Review Panel have given ‘The Wrecking Ball’ a Grade A punching charge following an incident involving Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook in the 75th minute of Wigan’s defeat to rivals St Helens last week.

Nuuausala has no early guilty plea and will likely serve a one-match ban. He has also been cautioned for other contrary behaviour on debut.

Nuuausala is the only player to be charged in Super League this week, although teammate Willie Isa, McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Chris Houston have all been cautioned following incidents this weekend.
