QLT ready to show age is just a number

New Castleford signing Quentin Laulu-Togagae is certain he can prove himself in Super League, despite getting his shot at the age of 33.

The former Sheffield, Toronto and Halifax fullback has finally being handed his chance in Super League after years of terrorising defences in the lower leagues.

Despite being tasked with filling the club’s fullback void that they’ve failed to fill since Zak Hardaker’s departure, the Samoan international is confident he can step up.

“I’m 33 and a lot of people will say that’s getting on but I feel fresh,” he said.

“I always say it, age is just a number, I look after my body and I don’t drink much. I’m as fresh as I was back in my younger days, I just have a few more white hairs!”
