Salford Red Devils have confirmed that star half-back Rangi Chase has been suspended by the club with immediate effect.
Chase, so often an influential figure for the Red Devils in 2015 despite a season of struggle on the field, will not be considered for selection for this weekend’s game at Halifax on Saturday.
The club say that he has been suspended pending an internal disciplinary investigation by the club. The club also added that they will not be making any further comment on this issue.
