Rugby League to return to Bramall Lane

Sheffield Eagles have confirmed that their Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie against Hull FC next month will be held at the home of Sheffield United, Bramall Lane.

The tie, which will be played on Sunday 19 April, will be staged at the home of the football side, a ground which the Eagles have previously played at in the past.

The Eagles left their temporary home at Owlerton Stadium at the end of last season and currently are ground-sharing with Kingstone Press Championship rivals Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium until their new stadium on the site of the old Don Valley Stadium is completed.

Sky confirmed last week that they will televise one game in the fifth round, which will be Leigh v Salford on Saturday 18 April.
