Salford hand new deals to Sa’u and Forster

Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash has revealed that two of the club’s squad have signed new contracts with the club.

The headline retention is arguably Junior Sa’u, with the key centre penning an extension to a deal that was set to expire at the end of the season.

Sa’u signed a two-year contract after joining from the NRL in 2013, and has gone on to become one of Salford’s most influential players during that time. He has now signed a new deal until the end of the 2017 season – with Sa’u confirming the news on Twitter himself.

Meanwhile, talented youngster Carl Forster has also signed a new contract with the club, Koukash has revealed. Forster joined from St Helens at the end of last season, and the 23-year-old has made eight Super League appearances so far in 2015.

Koukash wrote on Twitter: “Delighted that and have signed new contracts for 2 more years”.
