When Jarrod Sammut’s signing was confirmed by Wigan Warriors on Saturday, many eyebrows were raised, but Sammut believes this move from London Broncos is a chance to get everyone to believe in his ability.
“It’s probably a case of getting everyone to believe in me as much as I believe in myself,” he said.
“I think that over the last couple of years it’s been a case of picking the time to try something that is off-the-cuff. I’m a confident person and player and even though some things don’t come off, that doesn’t stop me still trying my best.”
Sammut and Wigan start their season against St Helens on the opening Thursday night of the season on 31st January.
