Super League announce another sponsorship deal

Smartphone specialists Alcatel OneTouch have signed a deal with Super League to become the competition’s ‘official handset provider’.

The company say they will ‘deliver innovation through mobile technology by engaging with First Utility Super League fans throughout the season’.

The announcement comes just weeks after Super League revealed energy provider First Utility as its headline sponsor.

Super League Commercial Director James Mercer said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Alcatel OneTouch on board as an official partner for 2014 in what promises to be an extraordinary and exciting year for the First Utility Super League.”

Alcatel OneTouch UK & Ireland director William Paterson added: “The First Utility Super League is a sport enjoyed by all the family, so we are thrilled to be a part of this. We offer affordable technology across smartphone, tablet, mobile broadband and Wi-Fi devices, appealing to all age ranges.

“We are working closely with the First Utility Super League to deliver the technology to engage fans throughout the season, bringing them closer to the games, players and live action.”
