Super League champions have continued to promote more young stars in their squad numbers for 2016, after reavealing that both Liam Sutcliffe and Brad Singleton have earned new numbers.
Sutcliffe, who is seen as the man that will come in and replace outgoing captain Kevin Sinfield at half-back next year, will wear number 14 in 2016. He missed the end of last season due to requiring a knee reconstruction, but is on course to return next season.
And Singleton has also been promoted too; he will wear the number 16 shirt in 2016 after a real breakthrough year for the forward, who played all but four games in the Rhinos’ treble-winning campaign of 2015.
Commenting on both players, Rhinos head coach Brian McDermott said: “Both Brad and Liam showed their outstanding potential last season.
“Brad has been around the first team squad throughout my time here, however last season he really grasped his opportunity and this is a reward for those efforts.
